Surgical Procedures Developed by Dr. Lyons

Dr. Lyons has practiced gynecological medicine since 1980. During his practice he has developed these surgical procedures and has trained other surgeons around the world. He also has a global base of patients who have sought him out for his expertise:

• Laparoscopic Burch procedure for Urinary Stress Incontinence, in addition to other procedures for pelvic relaxation, vault prolapse, rectocele and enterocele.
• Supracervical Laparoscopic Hysterectomy which leaves more of the woman intact for better sexual function post-operatively, with no increased risk of cervical cancer.
